The frame is faintly date stamped '44'(1944) together with model designation ‘G43’, Nazi German Wartime manufacturer code 'ac' (Walther), serial number ‘5425’ and Nazi Army acceptance mark. The wood is waffenamt and has the Nazi German army Eagle with Swastika acceptance marks. It has all original wood and is fitted with leather sling which is waffenamt.
